How good are 80's model suburban axels. They are in a 2500 4 X 4. I was thinking about using them in my M37 or in a 59 Willy’s wagon project. 4.10 gears. Not free floating hubs.
I think they are a regular 10 bolt lug pattern. Only issue I could see is the back spacing might push them out too far. I think they would be 6" to 8" wider than the inner wheel if rinning duels and going to the single. If running duels they would still be narrower than the outside duel. The...
I converted my M725 to 12 volt with the 350 repower. 1st truck of the adiction. Now I have a deuce and working on a M37. Wish I would have left it 24 volt. If you need 12 volts just pull from one battery.
I found some NDT 11.00's. The ones I saw were like new but have not seen all of them. He said he had about 150. They are mounted on 10 hole split ring rims. All of the ones I saw were holding air. $55.00 each.
I had a couple at 32 -34 ounces out. I balanced the rims before putting the tires on. Might try with out balancing the wheels and just mount the tires and then see. If they were not on the front I would not wory but don't want to kill the ball joints.
RE: muiti-fuel won
Check motor oil level and smell. If fuel smell, don't drive. Add fuel in tank, open bleeders at secondary filter, turn on the power switch. If fuel pump is running it will pick up fuel and come out the bleeder. Open bleeder on primary filter to get water out of system...
He has been busy and hard to get to. He is picking up a tank the week of the 7th here in Texas and then comming by my place to get some other parts. I will let him know when I here from him.
I got a set of Overson lockout hubs and a single hub and axel for the front drive axel from him...
I have access to some 16.00 X 20’s which are mounted on 10 hole rims. I guess from the HEMTT’s. The rims are the 2 piece lock ring style. Most are still holding air. There are also some 14.00’s mixed in and some HUMVEE 36’s. Some tires have good, almost new, tread, some not so good.
On...
Spend the extra $$$ and get one with enough CFM’s to run your tools and have air left over. I have a stand up from Tractor Supply and it want keep up. I think it’s about 10 cfm @ 90 psi. Hay it was free. I was running my ½” impact last weekend breaking down some combat rims. Hooked an air...
I have 2 10 bolt and 5 20 bolt rims. The back space is around 11 1/4" to 11 1/2". I have one 16 bolt rim. The back space is about 8 3/4. The 16 bolt is a very heavy rim. The bolt flang where the lug nuts mount is doubled and about 1/2" thick. I think it is a regular 10 lug pattern.
Here are some pic's. Not sure what the first rims is for but think it is off a trailer. One has some rust on the bead lock. Had water inide the flat tire. They look worse in the pic them they are. They have all the bolts and nuts. All had tires mounted when I got them.
Ok I have 7 rims if someone needs them. 5 of the 20 bolt 10 hole and 2 10 bolt 10 hole. $175 each. Also have 2 14.00's like new. Looking at the rims the 10 bolt look stronger than the 20 bolt.
