I think the windshield frame in the 900 series truck is the same height as the deuce but wider. How wide is the frame in the 900 series trucks?
Thinking about grafting one onto my M725.
RE: Re: RE: lockout hubs all around...?
I only thought about a second lockout on the front rear if I add a locker. I know both axels in the front rear will still be spinning but with the lockouts it would not be pulling which would help on steering issues.
II have 2 sets of legs. One goes back on my truck and the other is going with a ring I have sold.
I am trying to get the correct adjusting plates so I can get them painted and reinstall the ring and be done.
I did not have the front plate before. I had the plate in the 3rd pic mounted on the...
RE: Re: RE: lockout hubs all around...?
I am running lockouts on both front hubs. It really helped with steering issues on normal driving.
I have on lockout and double splined shaft on the front rear.
I tried with the lockout on the very rear axel but you get a lot of wheel hop and spin from...
Here are the adjusting plates I have.
I'm almost sure the front leg one is correst but which one goes on the drivers rear leg and is there on that goes on the pasenger rear leg?
Can you snap a couple of pic's loking down from the top? How well did it line up. Mine was there and looked good from the ground but never really lined up. I only had one adjustine plate which was on the drivers side leg and could never get all the bolts in on the passenger side rear leg to...
RE: Re: RE: M66 rings
Anybody have the TM for the ring mount? What adjusting plates are required for the M35a2. I had a short plate on the driver’s side of my truck but it never seamed to be mounted correct. Today a found a longer adjusting plate for the drivers side. Which one is correct...
I used 5 gallons on my M725 using real CARC. Painted both the inside and outside. Frame was painted black. It was not thined and we rushed the primer which was not dry and caused flaking in the cracks and some paint is flaking off now. It is also a real rough finish which I don't like. If I...
RE: Re: RE: Getting ready to paint
Tag in the top said 2.5 and 5 ton but is about 1 foot too wide. I have another top, well it is a well used top, I cut a hole in it to access the gun ring.
Well I am ready to make the BIG UGLY look nicer. I have pulled the bed, removed and dismounted the wheels and tires and if the heat does not kill me I will blast, do some body work, and paint. I bought the paint from RAPCO, Marine Corp simi gloss 24052.
I have no body or painting work...
A lot simpler and safer than split rings. Unbolt the 10-or 20 bolts and use a tire hammer to break the bead loose and remove the 2 halves. Clean and reassemble. O ring might be ok if it is not leaking now.
I picked up this front rack. Will it work with normal troop seats on a M35A2?

It fits the stake pockets and small holes on the sides but looks too short.
I have never looked at troop seats so not sure what will and will not work.
I pulled the bed so I can prep the...
I wish. Only thing in the 105 when I got it from GL were 2 bad 16.00's I had to get rid of.
I got a package deal and had to put cash into them when I added the ring on my deuce. I am wanting to make a 4dr and add a ring behind the driver, COOL. I was holding onto them until I did the project...
