They make forks with a frame that take the place of the bucket. They're not a lot more expensive than those bucket ruiners.

You're reinventing the wheel. Glad hand to glad hand air lines are readily available off the shelf in most truck stops.
Your idea has merit for running air tools. Gladhand to female air line quickconnects are something to keep in the toolbox of every airbrake truck...
I don't have an 805.
I know some of the more advanced larger machines have on board resistance in order to artificially create load and prevent wetstacking. Is the 805 one of them?
In answer to my own question, it appears not. I was able to find references to 805s that have wet stacked...
These machines are set up in two different configurations. One way has it idle at 1300 rpm until loaded and then it jumps to 1800rpm when loaded. The other way has it run constantly at 1800rpm.
Rental machines are typically 1800 constantly, due to the fact its cheaper to build that way and...
