I had the retaining clip break on the clutch release arm, it would hit top of the bolts on the pressure plate, took me a while to figure it out, may be worth a look.
I would like to upgrade to a 4bbl intake and carburetor on my M886, would like to ask if you have done this and what parts are required, like to buy new. My big concern is mating up the linkage, especially the transmission linkage on the carb.
Thanks
The ambulance cover is not like the cargo cover that has extra material that hangs over the sides and is tied down, it only just barely goes over the sides and is held against the body with a metal strip. Given the fact it may have shrunk over time it may appear to be short compared to a...
I use Lucas heavy duty oil stabilizer in mine @ 100% and use 50% in the transfer case. Its "sticky" and less likely to leak if the seals have wear. The lube order calls for 90wt gear oil.
I sent my old cover to another member here who is having one made, perhaps he will chime in when it's finished. When he is done the old cover can be shipped to some one else if needed.

Here is a picture of the shifter assembly I rebuilt, you can see the end of the plunger in the center to the left, the part the shifter hits against is hidden in the center. So what does this spring loaded plunger do ?, it prevents the shifter from moving the shift rail unless you lever that...
I have 6 solar panels, a 24 battery 24v battery bank, 3600 watt inverter/charger and 8Kw Isuzu diesel generator that auto starts/stops when needed, purchased a "service truck" air compressor that is engine driven, that took care of my high demand air needs. Propane appliances, direct vent oil...
It's actually snowing right now, truck has been inside all winter and I have not done too much. All the small parts are blasted-primed-painted, working on the engine now, had to to replace the freeze plugs under the intake, two had holes rusted through them. A couple of bolts are broke off on...
