Whomever married the box and trailer together did a good job from the topside at least.
That definitely looks like CUCV SECM body as mentioned but also looks really top heavy for the trailer
Pics of the inside and underside would be great.
I didn't want to remove anything (could be another can of worms) so I always have done the heat treatment.
Not talking about glowing orange, but enough to make things loosen up a bit.
Always worked for me.
LOTS of penetrant and LOTS of heat.
These are notorious for rusting up in any position.
As mentioned, the end cap adjusters will not move under tension.
Those also love to seize up.
Heat is the way I have unstuck several that were frozen when I picked them up from auction.
Take your time and...
Do not waste your money on a 2 row. Even without towing.
I would take it to another repair shop and see what they say.
If not, be prepared to spend some cash.
They still make the copper/brass radiator, but a lot of guys have had luck with other models.

A Steel Soldiers member reached out with a trailer offer.
Great price!
It’s a LTT/TQG 1-1/2 ton (PU-798A) made for the 802A/803A.
Aluminum trailer so no rust
It’s a bit of a drive to get it but my wife and I are going to make a road trip out of it and enjoy seeing some new...
Appreciate the compliment.
I love my MEP-002A.
It’s not going anywhere.
Only complaint is that it’s really loud.
I would love to have a 003A, but now I don’t have a need for one.
The 803A prices around here were well above what I wanted to pay, then this one popped up and I was fortunate...
The rope is tucked away and will never be used.
I tried it with the rope once........
Never again.
Had to be some sort of engineers joke on the troops.
Painted on the beginning Hobbs time when I purchased it
I always do this on equipment so I don’t have to look it up or guess.
The battery covers came in so those were Installed today.
I kept the one big flap cover. Didn’t want to toss it and it’s not in the way of anything.
I washed them...
Trying to find a trailer now.
A trailer setup might be a better fit for the ranch.
Will be easier to wire something so I can plug into my panel.
Plan is to get one of your covers so I don't have to worry about spiders and wasps..... and weather.
I only use the Solargizer/PulseTech chargers. The...
The trailer has been extremely useful.
The load rating is well over 2000lbs.
It’s a bit overkill for what I do with it.
Perfect fit for the little ford tractor
Do the guys who use these generators for standby power leave them out in the weather 24/7 or build an enclosure for them?
I know their built for staying outside but that definitely takes a toll on them over time.
I was thinking of doing a little Tuff-Shed
USAF Flight Line Oxygen Cylinder Trailer
I installed the wood almost two years ago.
Yesterday morning I soaked the wood with new ATF oil and then let it sit in sun all day.
It really soaked it up!
Now the wood will not rot away.
It will be at least a year or more before it needs another coat...
Ran generator for almost an hour seeing if any leaks from radiator cap and fuel filters. Wanted it nice and hot.
All good.
Topped off fuel tank and placed generator back inside my cargo trailer to keep out of the weather for now.
The battery terminal covers are the only thing I'm waiting on...
