Yes, get a voltmeter and check the voltage at the batteries. The driver side alternator charges the front battery and the passenger side alternator charges the rear battery. Check the voltage at each battery at idle and also while running the engine at higher rpm.
I had the same problem going to the GA Rally this year. I posted a thread on rebuilding the alternator and I also sell rebuild kits and misc. parts for the Delco p/n1105500 alternators.

On the way to the Georgia Rally this year my driver side alternator started over charging. I stopped to check it and at idle the charge was normal but the voltage increased as the rpms did getting to 17+ volts. After checking connections I disconnected the B+ wire off the back of the alternator...
If the gen light does not come on when the ignition switch is on before you start the engine, that alternator will not work. The gen light is what turns on the regulator once the engine is running.
I drove my M1028A2 halfway to and all the way back from the GA Rally with the number 1...
The WAI alternator is made in China (I used to work for WAI). If there's a warranty and the pulley is correct, go for it. It will smoke in less than the warranty period if it's bad. BTW, that's whats going on my M929 if the alternator grenades.
Mike, I think I saw your tote (was it black?) on a table near where the MKT was. Since there was a M105 trailer sitting near by I though it belonged to that person. Maybe someone turned it in to Durhamtown.
Make sure the Blackout toggle switch is in the normal position.
The trouble shooting for the turn signals and stop lights are in TM 9-2320-283-20-1 and start at page 2-164.
The problem is there's only 24 hours in a day. In a perfect world you can do maybe 500 miles in 10 hours. In the real world, you get slowed by traffic, hills, have to get fuel, eat. etc. So now maybe 400 miles in 12 hours if you are lucky. If everything hangs together, you can do 800...
I received the Florida title from Gov Planet for a trailer I bought, the title was in GP's name and signed over to me as the buyer. I paid Gov Planet $150 to get the title in their name, so they could sign it over to me. What a crock. It irritates me that I have to go and pay another $100 at the...
I wouldn't install the front driveshaft because you don't know if the sprag does have a problem.
I don't see a minimal wear condition as long as the wheels are turning. All of the components in the front drive are spinning under normal circumstances and the sprag only locks to drive the front...
