One reason the spare tire carrier bracket is scarse as they were used on the front of M101A1's trailers to mount a spare tire as a field mod.

Since it has been plated before in La , should be easy to re register and should have a title to use in the transfer.

Makes hooking up a trailer easier as I have both a rhino and extension. It clears the tire when hooking up a trailer. Most importantly, I live in the land of uninsured and idiots so I have some more metal to crunch when I get rear ended......

Pics of what I did. Pintle uses the regular non greased short collar like on the non airlift bumper. I guess they wanted the flat piece to distribute weight evenly as extension is hollow with a tube spacer for bolts. Wiring bracket is a 45-90 ish angle and also hard to find. I salvaged a...

I did not buy any as I had a bunch of m101's and prefer them for my needs.

I believe it is the tm on a cd. Ft. Polk had 100's surplused in a few sales in the gl days. Almost all literally new. Sold in sales with 30-40 lots so prices were very reasonable. Wish I had bought a bunch and stored them away..... They had a tm and cd in the gas can holder in a plastic bag.

I would check out Vermont. Bad thing is you will probably pay sales tax twice.

I don't think I have seen one of those come up at all at any US auctions under govt liquidation or gov planet.

Dot 5 is sold at any "real" name brand Auto parts like O'reilly , Autozone, Napa etc

This is standard operating procedure. Gov't Liquidation did the same thing. Gov Planet has also done the same thing every year. Nothing unusual. Think of all the crap they have to handle, year end taxes, govt reports etc... No big deal.
