    Radio mount for HMMWV GMV

For the HMMWV, It makes sense as the slave port is on the inside passenger side and very accessible. For others on the outside of cabs not so much. It does have a 24v to 12v inverter, thermal and overload protection. Pricey but for me it was a solution with out having to add a converter and plug...

    Radio mount for HMMWV GMV

You are correct! I have a double stack on my radio tray without the enclosure and the mirror is pretty useless even if i lean forward..... I have a mrap fish eye wide angle mirror mounted on my right brush guard so at least I have some visibility... I can't imagine what this set up would let...

HMMWV prices are sure coming up

What I was referring to multiple items from the same location the same day. If I recall the times I got lucky there were maybe 15 m923's that day at Fort Polk, 12 m998 one day also at Fort Polk, and the m101 trailers were maybe 50 at Red River that day. I also recall all the large lots of M931...

I'm not sure if govplanet is serious or not

I doubt it as it is probably too long if it was made for an armored truck.

    Help with mounting locations

Looks like the existing d ring bolt #10 would be where to start. Then align the base parallel to the radio tray and drill away.

HMMWV prices are sure coming up

When large lots come up for sale, it is the best time to bid. 1st ones early go high, middle group best, and last ones are bid up by those who lost out and pay more than 1st group. At least my experience for my m923 ,m998, and multiple trailers I flipped. All the best , ymmv :tank:

    HUMMVEE Oil filter

The list Coug post lists the correct present ac delco as the original post shows pf35 which was discontinued. Main difference is they now have an anti drain back valve that the original production did not. Whatever you choose...don't use Fram as they are absolutely garbage. Many YouTube videos...

Wife wants me to do the unthinkable due to the Florida DMV debacle!

I suspect it it is a gray area here in La but at least I have a plate, working lights, chains, and have tread on the tires so I stand out as most here are suspect on all that so I have never been bothered nor expect to plus I am a nice guy ;-) It is truly amazing some of the stuff that even...

Wife wants me to do the unthinkable due to the Florida DMV debacle!

I have all my trailers registered in Maine. It shows on the registration your name and local address and the name of the registered agent on your behalf in Maine. Just the same as most national trucking companies rolling stock. Check next time how many national fleets and intermodal chassis are...

What's the difference with the ECV Humvees & Regular Humvees (M1123)

Not sure if it was a blanket replacements of select components or more of checking and verifying everything is 100% operational and repair/replace as needed? It could also indicate that in 2009, it was upgraded to the USMC bolt on MAK Armour and red dot ac.
