Today I wire wheeled a lot of rust on the body and touched up all the paint. Also got the truck tailgate painted as well. Got the paint from Rapcoparts.com It looks a lot better.

Got the new soft topper on today. Wonder how many years this one will last… If anyone wants my old one, the windows could be fixed with vinyl sheet and some sewing. Comes with new hardware. Let me know. Free just pay shipping.

New oil cooler arrived. I removed the new cooler and installed the new cooler lol! I’ll test run her tomorrow!

So my motor started to have a 5 second delay when I turn the key to the off position. It won’t turn off for 5 seconds after I turned the key off. Where to start?

What would cause both to go out at the same time? When shutting off the motor, it resets itself and works again. What valve would cause this?

The hoses and fittings are dry. It is for sure internal. Not sure what happened but there is no way a rock could have hit it. It could have been from the body flexing when on the rocks or just a poor design of the cooler. I have a new one on the way. It was interesting… because I put the oil...

Took a trip up North Meadow. The new Derale Oil Cooler blew out on me… took 10 quarts of oil to get her back home. Barely made it back. If it was not for the oil temp gauge, I would have lost another motor. Anyhow, it was a fun trip!
