    No start M1008... won't crank & burned 2 fusible links??!! - w/ pics

Kjenavy, you have your own thread about your starting issues. Please use it and not this one. It is rude to high jack someone else's thread and is rude to the people that have tried to help you in yours. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?131940-New-Truck-Need-Wiring-Assistance

About to pickup my first M715. Learn me things.

Looks like they moved the data plate to the battery box so the could mount a CB and a master kill switch to the dash. The kill switch is not stock.

1987 cucv alternator problems???? blowing regulators????

Post some pictures of the wiring on both alternators. I should be able to tell if they are wired correctly. Also who rebuilt the alternators? Did they reinstall all the fiber washers correctly?

    Finally recovered my 10 ton...

And here is the second. Ferro, I wonder if they used the Plymouth as a model for Thomas. Sure looks similar, except for the third axle. And if you don't have it ready by the rally you could always wear this

m1008 won't start after 2 days of 30 ish at night

Another item that I use all the time is the battery load tester. I bought mine at Harbor Freight for about $20. While it isn't the best on the market it will do the job on giving you an idea of the condition of your batteries. Of course some people like the latest gadgets that cost big bucks...

The actual negative buss bar behind the rear battery is not grounded directly to the body.

    New guy in Ohio

Welcome to the site. Hope you get the heater and glow plug issues worked out. Many members add "un" to the beginning of the words on the drivers door. If you drive the vehicle onto a military base you may want to cover the wording. ;-)

    New M923A2 Owner

So what does she do with all the vehicles that where made prior to 1982 when the 17 digit VIN went into effect? Most of them had anywhere from 7 to 13 digits. She must be spending too much time in Colorado buying that wacky weed. ;-)

    New aridzona transplant

OK is a state and OKC is the abbreviation for the airport code of Oklahoma City. The rules say nothing about listing the city. I added it for clarification of my location.

    New aridzona transplant

The rules do not allow for a bit of humor when listing your State of residence. This applies to both Armadillofz1 and MM58 (and every one else for that matter).
