Has anyone cut a passthrough from an M109 box to a hardtop cab?

But those 3-way stoves can often be installed incorrectly especially if not a manufacture install. There's an industry standard to building the combustion box behind the fridge. Hell, the one I got from my nephew did not work on gas when he got his new RV. He had know...

    Third's Build Discussion

Hey, I kept them down in "the bunker" for good reason all these years. They ain't getting out (too much to explain if they are ever seen again). I'm sticking with exposed conduit drops. I want to retain some of the utilitarian feel so the OEM wire channel and drops will remain...

    Third's Build Discussion

So it begins... Winter project: time to start putting the piles of stuff sitting in the living room into the hab. Next step will be to gut the hab, pull the lighting and re-land some of the electrical drops, paint the interior, lay the flooring and radiant heat, then get...

    CHUCKY'S TREE HOUSE !

Not all my rides are FMVs. *relevant because "headphones" ;p Sorry for the skipping camera in that car, it's one of those mouse-pointy-turny-look-around-clips. :)

    6x6 V-Link Boots

That name is familiar. Don't they do 3:07 gears as well?

Has anyone cut a passthrough from an M109 box to a hardtop cab?

Good info there. I recently accepted the fact that I'll use propane (since a number of the items I was given for the build can use it). I wasn't sure how much/how many tanks I would need. I have a pair of 5-gals that a neighbor tossed me after he upgraded to 30 and was looking...

    Keith's M1078A1 Project Overland

They want cat scales and an inspection here. They look to see if you have any four of like a dozen criteria that meet the req's for "RV" here in Texas (easy list to fill and I'm like 8/12 so all set there). But as I said, they could sort out a school buss (after I showed them...

    Keith's M1078A1 Project Overland

I was down at titles today and meant to ask about this. I have to go back with a cat scale reading for my other truck tomorrow and I will ask the fella about it then. I found a manager who was quite knowledgeable (rare here) and he even commented on what a PITA dealing with GP...

    Moving my Transmission cooler

I'm dreading the install of mine. It's three foot long with the outlets on the end. The frame section above the exhaust where I'm thinking I will place it is only like 40". The shelter is going to have to come off (which I thought I might get away w/o doing) if it's going to...

    CHUCKY'S TREE HOUSE !

Nice! One thing, always check local laws about vehicles and headphones. Interestingly, in a lot of states you can't drive on the road while wearing them. I always have a one-ear set for driving (all my cars and trucks have headsets...reasons).

What have you done to your FMTV or LMTV today

Came out nice! I've made three identical to that (two for trucks ands one on my M1082) and all totaled still haven't come close to the coin people ask for the OEM crane. LOL

Oh any truck *can* be made to run again. With deep enough pockets. ;)

A Hens Tooth Up For Auction

Seems high unless someone got in there to do an inspection on it. It's tagged as "does not run" and the listing seems to back that up. I recall one sold here in Texas a few years back (may have been Bantha) went for $30K as a runner on eBay. But people do get stupid...

    What is this?

With the right adaptor(s) I don't see why not. But at the end of the day they are little more than a crappy sounding drive-in movie speaker. :)

Yeah, that's the one I was thinking of up thread.

    Radiant Floor Heat

Yeah, I know. But it's still the same $40 item from Home Depot being sold for 10x that. And it's not even being sold as surplus from <insert_point_of_compass_scalpers_here>

On my todo list. Useless added weight and hardware.
