you are absolutely correct ! If i was making stencils more often than a couple every 10 years, i would invest in oilboard .. The WD or silicone is holding out fine .. I am more worried about the dies rusting due to non-use

I know my method is lacking "oil", but in a pinch I have used a manila folders sprayed with a light coat of silicone or WD40 to make stencils ;) I have a spare 3/4" Marsh electric (!) army surplus machine i should put up for sale , maybe both of them .. I bought them at DRMO Romulus, aka Seneca...

Just a note, my armor BN's gasser M62's were bridge-plated at 18 tons ;) somewhere around here i have the Transportation FM covering all such technicalities and more :unsure:

Due to fed budget, the USMC always got the bottom end .. Perhaps there's no safety chains on trailers the USMC received back then (re: budget) .. Besides, my WW2 marine uncle used to always say there was no such thing as a safe marine :LOL:
