So I picked up 4 M35A3 wheels tonight for a deal I simply couldn't pass up. Where's a good place to get a new O-rings at? I know one is damaged, but I'd rather replace them all. I also picked up two 20x11 steel wheels I'm going to try running on the front. They measure out about the same as...
Just kicking an idea around in my head. But what about taking a divorced NP205 from a older dodge or ford pickup. Gut the "front" output shaft and gears out of it. Then install it backwards between the transmission and t-case of the deuce. You'd effectively double the the output shaft speed...
I had this gauge laying around and had a clamp on style thermocouple laying around. So I decided I'd toss it on the deuce so I can have a clue what's going on in the engine. I'd like to have a pre-turbo thermocouple, but free is better...
My truck is missing the slobber tube. And honestly I don't like how they look hanging down. Anyhow, my deuce has been making a mess under the truck. My answer is a coffee can! It fits perfect under the turbo and on top of the frame rail. Now all the "mess" collects in the can and I can dump...
I want to see about stainless steel brake hosing for each hose on a deuce. Does anyone know the fitting size/style and hose length for everything? Or does anyone have junk hoses laying around I could use to model off of?
Picked up my Deuce today from SETOYOTA. I can't say enough good things about Chuck! Not only was he very accommodating during all our dealings, he filled the deuce up, gave me a manual for it, and even loaned me his budd socket! (I've got one on order, but it'll be next week before it gets...
I've seen a few threads about people widening rims for the deuce. I'm wanting to run 395s. I know a few have ran them on the stock wheels. But I think they'd be better off with 1.5" added in them. Anyone able to widen them for me?
