trying to get some idea what is usually used to fit the large tow bars to a 5ton. its just a little over 1 3/8 od and 1 in id. i found one broze bushing but its a little loose. not over a 1/16 i found some steel pipe that i might could make do , for now i only need to haul a truck 125 miles one...
if i had ready cash and you were closer i would take it and put it up for hard times spare parts. hope you sell it . maybe someone would swap it out for some money and some parts? just a thought
i would get a better idea if what is broken first. if your dead in the water what could you want to winch? maybe you need to move your truck using the winch, my luck is that i would tear up everything else and still not move the truck .02c Tim
not bad of a job, i dont most by myself, i used some tire soap even on the oring with no problems, i didnt use new orings just cleaned and soaped them up. the trick to being by your lone self is to not put the tire on its side leave it standing up . TIm
i just now went out at night time to try the lights, i just turned them on and they came on. i didnt use the lower left park switch before or after, but yesterday after i couldnt get them on i drove it down the road some but didnt try the lights after the short drive. im thinking that there is...
my blinkers and head lights wouldnt come on so i thought bad switch. so after the new one came in i installed it. the blinkers now work but still no head lights. i checked for curent at lights,non and non at the dimmer. any help ful hint would be so helpfull thanks in advance Tim

yes bearing falure, but make sure you getting the oil up to the bearing too. must be some little rust or pitting that you cant see unless you really get a eye level look see with the old evil eye
