I would try to re-torque the screws. Then try to replace the gasket.

There is a safety air switch on the fuel door were the hoses are on the left side. If the door is open or the switch is bad the trailer brakes will come on.

Do you have the front axle engaged with the transfer case switch? That would keep it from turning.

The power steering and winch are not on the same system.

Not much room behind the cab, spare tire and tool boxes are there.

This is just part of the BII that goes in the wrecker. A list of it is in the manual.

Yes you have to turn the pintle just a little when you put the hitch into the receiver. If you could add like a 1/2"-3/4" spacers to drop the rec. hitch a little would be ok. But it is not a problem when you pull the hitch out of the receiver and just use the pintle. These pics may show that.

My M936 with all the BII in it is right at 39,500lbs.
