That sensor is a basic resistor with a temp variant...so depending on temp it has a set amount of resistance...I am not sure what it should be so that is the unknown part...does the plug have power or is it a ground type? To test the sensor you need a lead on each of the pins in it...ohms...

Alright so this weekend we started the body mounts on the 1009...they are pretty simple to get the nuts off but getting the bolts to free up from the bushing sleeves was another issue...we ended up using the nut on the end of the bolt a few threads on and using the jack and half inch extensions...

The relay is under the dash...2 big wires and 2 smaller ones...pretty simple setup...if you have a temp heat gun how hot is hot...that front positive battery is the jump to make the 24 volts...cranking for a long time can get it warm...is it a normal double end cable or a loose ended...

I'd check you're starter relay under the dash...see if it's clicking or getting the 24 volts going to the starter...make sure the ground to the block is solid as well.

That has a plunger on the end that gets pushed by a bar that is actuated by pulling back on the turn signal stalk...If you take off the lower dash cover you can see it easy...that is adjustable as well...you should hear an audible click when you do move it.

That's good...some LEDs don't dim but go out...I think the manufacturers have found that bulbs need to be used at lower voltage to dim and they've made them work that way now...they used to be very sensitive to low volts. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Nice! Do they dim or do they stay the same brightness then go out with the dimmer switch? Mine turned out to be the fuse connection...I have to clean all the internal contacts more...a new fuse helps too.

Dang, that looks like mine...it took a good while to replace all the rockers and floor but we've never done it before. Good thing is parts are not that expensive and a basic mig welder gets the job done nice. Sounds like it took a long commitment to get it too! Good luck on the project!

I found those at a surplus store north of Harrisburg Pa a few months ago...they had the positive and negative sizes and got 8...I think the were under 5$ each too...fit perfect.

Wait...dash lights are bright?? I'm sure they were designed to be as dull as possible to keep you guessing at how slow you're really going at night or what gear you're in or out of fuel...all of mine quit working the other day out of no where...typical. On a real note the switch on the column...

Looking at this pic again it seems like the ground wire was going over top of the rear battery side mount...now that you're replacing it you can run it under it so it won't chaffe on that again...48 might be a little long but that's not a big deal since there's plenty of room to tuck it around...

I don't see why not, that's what the slave is for...is there any way to just leave a small charger in there 2 or 6 amp just to keep it topped off...that really stresses the alt, battery and starter...and starter relay that likes to go nuts with low voltage.
