Welcome to the SS forums!!
Did you look up the part in the parts TM, then search for that number??
All the usual suspects carry them IE HPG and Kascar (real4wd)
Quick lesson, your M1123 has a UOC (use on code) of NNN, if you look at number 18 which is the stud you seek you will see NNN as one of...
I think he is talking about the run signal to the IP, pink is what GM used on the civy engines, I still see it from time to time in my 5.7L nightmares
Welcome to the SS forums
If the run wire to the injection pump is what you are talking about it is the wire towards the front of the IP (towards...
There is no need to bleed the fan system, the "bleeder" on the later trucks would not effectively bleed the system anyway being located at the valve.
To be effective as a bleeder it would have to be located at the clutch.
I think that was put there to make it convenient to attach a gauge to...
Wow those sure are inefficient , 400W in for 300W out or 75% efficient, I guess that is the price you pay for 100% isolation, there must be a large stack of them to make any real power.
Since you have access to the fuel line get a fuel pressure gauge that comes with a Tee and put it between the electric pump and the factory filter and watch the pressure when it loses power.
It does not have to be an expensive one...
As a general rule you want as little restriction before the pump as possible, pumps unlike fans generally push better than pull.
Probably not an issue here.
You still have a pickup sock in the tank and the fuel tank vent system to consider (try running with the cap loose)
If the factory filter...
The 6.5L especially the turbo need an oil cooler, those engine have piston cooling jets in the block, it carries away a ton of heat from the pistons via the engine oil. (read like most engines and especially diesel engines the oil IS part of the cooling system)
This is one of the reasons the...
That turbocharger is not water cooled, just read the label and make sure it is IAT
EDIT, you are correct that some manufactures are selling green HOAT and OAT coolant
The gauge reads from the sending unit in the front part of the left head under the exhaust manifold. The one on the back of the head is for the cold advance as stated above
If I am reading correctly you already have a 4 speed, why not fix whatever is wrong with your TCM?
In any case you should already have a TPS on your IP and that should work with the QS.
It seems FlameRed might be saying TPS when at one point it seems he means the fording switch, you should be...
