    5k for a cucv that's insane. imo i got mine from GL for 1k i know that's not the usual price but i would not spend over 2500 for one.

    i would keep the 4 56 gears. with a bigger lift and tires the gears are not that bad.

    aside from a bent drive shaft that was fixed asap when i got it last year i love my M1008 its a great truck has no issues and its tan :)

    i drive a 62 buick all the time and my 25 year old M1008 like people said it depends on who did what to your CUCV in the time it was in the service.
