Dual output alternators can be pricey and hard to replace. Not to mention big and heavy *HUMMER communication shack models*.
I'm into this about $500 for the 12v side:
Only thing I can answer is #9. There is no waist gate. The snorkel piping and air filter are so restrictive
it is not needed because it can't make enough boost to worry about. Now if I can just get my boost gage working.......
By valve stem do you mean on the back side of the tire or at the Scrader valve? If it is the valve you are refuring to,
remove the air hose that goes to the stem on the wheel. Most likely a valve core is in the stem. Remove it to use CTIS
correctly, put air hose back on and try again.
I had a similar problem, it was interfering with the operation of the homemade 12v inverter box I made for civi trailers.
My solution was to open up the turn signal switch and separately ground the indicator bulb:

I started with the 24v, looked at the dual set ups listed for the Deuce, and called them back. Had them sell me a 12v
with a serpentine pulley. Bought a second Alt bracket here...

Update: Getting the tensioner mounting plate cost me a little skin on my right elbow, a few drops of blood and a 5mm Allen socket.
Just the through bolt holding the tensioner to the mounting plate, and it indexes on the large hole next to the top mounting hole.
Other two holes I drilled...
