Check to make sure the throttle arm didn't slip and you are indeed putting the pump into full throttle.

Ummm, there might be a few other things to check before jumping to that conclusion.

The air pac will usually just make the brakes feel like they aren't "power" assisted or puke BF out the road draft tube, not make the pedal mushy. You have a failed M/C. If you rebuild it get good Wagner parts, not the Chinese made New Star stuff.

Plugged filters don't make power, they rob it. Whoever posted that has no clue...FUD.

Just keep heading east out SW rd to Lucerne Valley Cutoff. You can only go straight or right. turn right, go apx 2 miles just past a hill on the left and it will flatten out, Stop and look right. That's where we are!

It is possble for the injector to hang open and allow compression past the pintle, but when that happens, the engine stops running. The compression is pushed all the way back into the pump and pushes the fuel out of the delivery area of the pump. If you had any broken/weak springs you'd see it...
