What's the cold cranking amps, etc of the battery you mentioned? When I bought my M1083A1 from D&B Equipment they had put in four Continental group 24C-HP batteries in it. I can't seem to find a spec sheet for that battery from Continental anymore. But it says 900 cranking amps 720 cold...
