I have been on the phone with John at ranchers supply, he sent me these pic's of there hoods and tops. He said there hoods are strough enough to stand on.
Wish he was there 8 years ago, bought 4 tires in a stack on GL from Jaksonville. When i got them they all had a 6" hole in the middle of the tire, lost $700.00
Rodman broke down in TN.
Rodman is broke down in TN. on I 75 mile marker 45 , in need of a trailer tire 9.50 x 16.5 or a std. 8 lug 16". Is anybody near him? His cell# 407 860 1441
It is sunday a little after 12:00 noon when rodman called me he was going through Atlanta. last night about midnight he blow a trailer tire and fixed it, back on the road around 4:30 this morning.
In your pic this is not DOT compliant, the new laws require all connections must be inside a rail, protected. When out of control the trailer swips a large pole it will rake all these chain connections off.
This coming tuesday will be 3 weeks when the truck was droped off, was told to call on tuesday, maybe done wednesday????????? I have heard this before. I just hope the price of $3,600.00 for the trans. does not change. There are so many ways this deal can go bad before i can drive it home.
I take my time and do it right but it is not a hobby, this is how i make my living. When you love doing work like this you never work a day in your life. I am 57 going like i am 20.
