UPDATE: Spent all day today trying to get the interior back together. The weather was perfect high 70s with little humidity. I painted the frames of my seats with rustoleum "hammered". Gives it a similar look to the bed liner I used on the floor. I painted the $12 amplifer I bought so I can...

BTW does any one know where to buy the plastic clip that goes onto the door panels about midway down? Do I need a tool to install these?

    Dash pad, console, interior restoration...

Once I had it lined up I used some white spray paint to paint the holes onto the floor. I then drilled those holes and used bolts to secure it to the floor.

Part 3: Got my M1009 canvas seat covers in from Jakota and did some test fitting. I marked the exposed areas the seat cover could not cover on the front seats and painted them with the SEM dye to match the other interior pieces. I also took some pics with all the restored pieces...

    Dash pad, console, interior restoration...

Part 1: Ok I have spent the past 2 weeks trying to get my interior finished. First I restored the console and dash pad area. I bought a coverlay dash cover that was on sale for $169. I had my doubts since I have heard horror stories that some of these don’t fit at all but these reviews...

    Dealing with talcum powder sand...errr

My M1009 was full of talcum powder type sand when I got it. I have vacummed, power washed, air blasted, and wiped down the inside of my M1009 and it keeps comming back. Every week when I go to work on my M1009 there is a fine coat of it dusting the interior and windshield. I am thinking of...

Start Up - Trouble Shooting (VIDEO)

Did you bleed the fuel line/injector lines of air? That wire that is broken could be the one that runs to the fuel solenoid or IP, I recall reading some place it was the pink one and that looks pink in the video. Of course I am not a CUCV expert and I am probably wrong.

Got it working. I used a sheet metal screw, tubing from a brake line and a washer.

    Shift Indicator install help...

I might have to go with copper then...that way the plastic I use doesn't fall apart in a few years. I will post pics of the mod. Also, was any of this info about threading the shift indicator wire through the gauge bezel in any of the TMs? If so I could not find it.

    Shift Indicator install help...

I think what I am going to do is just add a screw with with a piece of plastic around it so it can be used as a pivot point.
