Update. well finally got around to bending up the panels and cutting the plates for the inside of the bed. Downside is my buzzbox fried so will have to wait and use a friends.

I have seen folks cut down Duce and CUCV troop seats and rig them in a trailer. Maybe that is what happened. Make sure you take pictures when you go look at them and follow up.
Nope that was the truck last summer the day it came home from Co forestry. All the M135/211 from that auction were the same color. It never left the house before it was gone through and repainted. I wouldn't risk a 58 year old truck doing something like that, well on purpose anyways!rofl
I have never seen a M101 anything with troop seats. The 101a1 used the same bows and 5 hole Budd with 9:00 16 as a M37, 101A2 use a standard 8 bolt rim and radial tire as Dodge or Chevy PU's have used for the last 30+ years. The brakes on a A1 are just for parking if it doesn't have a surge...
I picked up my new M35a2 yesterday and besides having 2 wooden wheel chocks in the BII box it had 2 rubber chocks mounted on each of the rear mud flaps. Look to be real easy fab. Also if anyone in the KC area wants to extend their cargo bows you can have the rear wall and door I just removed it...

Flyingvan911 was out there today picking up my new duce was going to drive, but my buddy with a new chevy3500 and tandem dualy trailer wanted to go so it was trailer-ed home. Riley has a nice dock so took off the cargo cover loaded and trip home was uneventful. Your Duce looked good, but didn't...
:ditto: Almost did the same thing today picking up my new Duce from GL, got it all chained down and was ready to roll. Got back up on the trailer to make sure windows were closed and saw both latches hanging down.
