Is this the correct jack for an M1009?

For FYI, might try using the jack on an axle with whatever size tire hes running. I found out that my jack didnt work one nite. Not because the tire was too big but because it was to tired and couldnt lift the axle off the ground. Just a suggestion.

Trouble getting access to broken starter bolt

I used a craftsman cordless drill and their ez out set. I used it about 5 times in a month. I got pretty good at it. Might have to take the bell housing protector off too, about 5-6 bolts. Plenty of room. Do a small pilot hole first btw,and then use the ez out. It worked like butta

    CUCV Block Heater Help Needed

Mine died this past winter and I installed a new one. I spliced into the heater line and the bottom radiator line. 1500watt and it stayed plugged in all night. I'll say while its cold out, like really cold, you could pop the hood open and after 10 min you wouldnt be able to touch the thermostat...

M1008 cranked fine and then stopped.

The steel line coming out of the fuel tank crosses over the frame in the area of the pass side rear tire. When it crosses over the frame rail there is a rubber hose used with a couple of clamps. The steel line is also famous for collecting rocks and debris which acts like sandpaper in that area...

    Injector pump rebuilt update

The pump was reinstalled/replaced for a mere $1280. I wasnt moaning so much about the $650 for +tax/labor but the $608 for the rebuild was harsh. The pump thats on the truck now is the DB2 4267-R. Whats the numbers come out to mean, ie whats the application?

    Starting problem

DO NOT (!) use a chevy 350 starter bolt in its place. The bolts they sell u at Auto-zone aint hard enough but for a few starts and then they snap. Go to a chevy dealer and tell them you need the 6.2 starter bolt. Hell get 4 of them and keep the spares in the glove box. A few months ago I went...

    Air intake flow

Search the forum. I thought u made the mod Cattlett and said it was a noticable difference with how quiet the motor was. Had pics too. I saw this issue on the Diesel Page and I believe some guru had taken a early 70's muscle car air filter housing that has dual ports instead of single. Like...

    Injector pump rebuilt update

Wolf... tell me more about the 92 6.5 injectors. They match with the 6.2's pump output? Is this speculation or can anyone confirm this? autozone doesnt carry them anymore but Advance does... at $58 apiece for stock injs, $700 for a set of aftermarket. Chuck, as I understand the turning up...

Military Police markings arte a big NO GO!!!!

If the NY statute is as it reads then: you cant buy a firefighter edition or police edition Harley Davidson in that state and ride it without the risk of being cited? The 2003 jeep Willys with its proper sticker package can be cited. Anyone driving around with a 9/11 FDNY memorial sticker who...

    Battery Dying!

I know it sounds elementary but my old man was an electrician. He rambled on all the friggin time about connections, contacts, dirt, and dust. He always said bad connections whether they were loose or corroded would always cause heat and resistance. It was like a blocked pipe, you could have a...

Engine problems on a 1985 CUCV

The Cold advance solenoid isnt working would be my guess. I think its the pink wire on top of the injector pump. Disconnect it, turn the key to the accesory position (turn the key to where the veh has battery power) and then place the pink wire back onto the terminal where it belongs. You should...
