I'm getting mine out on Oct 6, but I may not be down there depending on who I have ship them. I spoke with Tim today and the way it sounds is you can't get into the lot anyways. They have to drag them out to you.
Check with PCTrans. I need two deuces from Eastover to MD and he's looking for other loads so he's not running empty. He might want a load heading south on his way home.
It's computer controlled, so you can have it activated by brake pedal, or whenever your throttle is off. I think the intended control is activated when the throttle is off, but with a switch to deactivate it once you come to a complete stop (so it doesn't burn itself up). From what I've read...
I'm just tossing this one out there, because I haven't researched it a lot, but the new fire engines my employer just bought are equipped with jake brakes and a nifty device called a Telma retarder. Between the two, you can almost stop the truck without touching the brakes. The Telma retarder...
I might be tempted to buy a calendar. I don't care if she's wrapped in a flag or not. And if you don't care if we stare, then by golly, I just might stare [thumbzup]
Much to my utter surprise, my EUC cleared today. 36 calendar days for a first time EUC. :jumpin:
But, I'm not quite ready to get them home! I thought I had more time. Guess I'll be figuring things out a little quicker than expected.
While I fully enjoy looking at a good looking woman, I think it is in poor taste to offer up either somewhat revealing or completely nude pictures of a woman you love to a large group of guys to ogle at. Every now and then someone in the fire dept will bring in pics of their girl. Den of...
I told the wife I was throwing out low ball bids on GL to see if I could win any deuces cheap (IT'S TRUE!) and I won two at once (whoops). She wasn't too mad either. I think you need to "accidentally" buy a MV now.
Same offer as the other guy. You're more than welcome to store it at my place for a little while if you want to arrange the details a little longer than GL would like you to.
Yep, I've seen all of the various tire options and such. Like I said, I did a lot of reading. For a moment I thought I wanted to switch to 22.5" rims for more tire options. I think for the stock deuce I'll run G177's in 11.00x20 and for the bobbed deuce run XML 395/85/20's. I was a little...
Actually you just reminded me of a very good point. I want to stick with tubed tires so I can air them down really low if need be. I thought that tubeless were cheaper though (especially the retreads).
I've been searching and reading all day. So far I've surmised that 22.5" rims work just fine on a deuce. You can run tubeless tires on 22.5" rims. There are lots of 22.5" options for tires, and much better prices than tubed 20" tires. The deuce has a 6 lug bolt pattern as opposed to the much...
