GREAT idea! I have actually seen somone weld a pice to he center in a pinch to get it back up and going. I saw it on a truck at auctions more than once actually. I though also of doing the same but using round plates where yours were bar stock. Either one will do the job. Give an extra piece of...
From what I understand a main difference in a M39 series truck (older (54) five ton) and the newer 800 series, is the longer nose?
You may know or not, but my bridge truck has a 671 Detroit diesel in it. The engine is soooo long that the radiator Had to be put outside the original grill! I...
IF YOU INFLATE ALL THE TRIES WITH HELIUM IT WIL BE LIGHTER AND WONT SINK AS MUCH.
Seriously, I saw those pictures, and I sure hope I NEVER get my 5 ton that stuck! I ahve the 16.00 on mine soI would think not, but who knows. I love playing in the mud, but that wasnt playing that was WORK to...
You got enought truck, just cain em all togeter, get the tractor hooked to the treiler in any means you can, use it like a big choo choo and pull it all out. either that or go find someone with a chinook and lift it wight out of the field and place it where ever you want. That would be cooler...

I saw that truck out at east wind. I was VERY IMPRESSED. It gave me a few ideas for some of my projects actually. I sent allen the pics I took out there. Should have several of your trucks too. Thanks for sharing.
see my responses in black below.
all in all, if you dont ahve any idea what your doing when workign on tires,,,,DONT DO IT! pay the extra $ and take it to someone tat does. Its not worth the risk of hurting the tire, or yourself. And always be careful! just my 2cents worth
I need to find 2 sets of the window guides for a soft top. I pan on using those, cut up and custom fabbed to seal up the widows against the top, and attach the top to. For now I am just gonna use a tarp as a top and worry about making it right later. its gonna be gettin warm soon and I am gonna...
Thats cool, there is nothing worse than out of work and a large unexpected bill comes around.
Well, there is enough finger left to get a ring on, but after it heals only, dont want to get it on there and it swells up, that sucks!
So, did you ever finish the project you were cutting the wood...
glad to see your healing up well.
on a side note, the no insurance thing. Call he hospital and all the people sending the bills, explain your situation, see if there is a cheaper way to bill it out. I had a son that had an accident with a bb gun and had one lodged in his knee, after 5 hours...
