RE: Re: RE: Re: Fun day with the Blazer (rant)
When I did have the rear bracket (starter no. 4 or 5) the starter was in for about a week. I went to fire it up and heard a catastophic sound that would have rivaled a semi vs. freight train. The nose cone cracked around the tip and just let go...
Sorry for not replyingsooner. My home computer died and i have yet to figure what happened to it.
the 6x9 boxes are just a little snug but can be wedged in between the top of the rear wheel and the edge of where the fiberglass topper rests on the body. Not sure what the word is to...
So long 2716... I hope your new home treats you well.
Screw'em, I was doing recon and gathering intel for when I really do go to bid. God help us around tax time though. The nice thing about it is that the old lady said that if I bring home anymore toys I'd better be able to sleep in it. 3...
2 questions...
Can I take the injectors off of the motor and clean them out and then put them back? Ive had a lot of debris keep clogging up my return line injector on top of the IP. It wont allow the the glass plunger to move back and forth so I have to take it off and blast it out with carb...
My sister wants to open a furniture store and asked if I help her. I figured getting one of these deuces I could deliver and pick up orders. She gets her sstuff out of Chicago where hotels drop off the old crap they dont want. They sell pallet at a time. Im trying to convince her to front me...
I worked 12hrs over today at the station so i figured that it would be a good time to change the rear diff fluid. Not sure when the last time it had been done and figured it wouldnt hurt. So I loosened the bolts and let it drip slowly into a pan. When I came back I decieded to start it up and...
Sounds like fuel delivery...
Make sure you dont have air escaping into the fuel line. Theres a rubber connection that jumps the steel line coming fromo the fuel tank to the steel line going into the lift pump. Its on the frame rail in front of the rear passenger wheel. Make sure this hasnt...
I want to say theres a decent surplus shop in STEVENSVILLE Michigan. Also if one is in need of M151 parts theres a shop in Crown Point Indiana. They really arent yards but they do carry real surplus (not chineese crap) and quite a bit of radio and veh parts. If anyone knows of a real shop in the...
I had heard of using an ammo can under the hood of your veh to cook food. Mounting an ammo can under the hood and splicing into the heater hose, routing the hose through the ammo can and you would have a small food heater. Taking that same principle, a heater hose could be routed to the back of...
Mike, can you send me the pics of how the rack mounts to the bumbper/body? My buddy has the means to weld and a tube bender.I know he could make a proto, jig it, and then knock out a few of these for us.Need to see where it mounts and a close up of the hinges
Ive been searching for one of these to throw in the back of the Blazer. I used to see them on ebay but its been awhile. Its so handy that it plugs into the slave rec, almost have to have it.
Gentlemen...
You have my attention. As I write the gas station down the street is offering diesel for a mere $2.89. Its almost a full dollar cheaper than RUG but still a load of crap. My daily driver is a CUCV with the standard 6.2. I assume that running the Doctors mix thru my IP would be a...
Yes, theyre enclosed. Got to walmart ( or The Shrine and pay ohmage to Sam the god) and in the car audio section there should be 6x9 enclosures. You have to put them together, it aint to tough.
