    Will a M101 cover fit a M116?

The M101 cover will come down to just above the fenderwells. If your boards go that high it should just touch. If you want to keep out weather, they will need to be higher.

    2015 LA Rally Multimedia Thread

And it looks like a good time for all. So, Trailboss, how did the new truck and camper trailer work out for you? I know not as much room as a deuce and 105 but for me, it's a darn sight easier going down the road!

    Adding Iron Planet Section

Since a wishlist is underway, what about an M35A2C w/w n/a forum? Haha! Honestly, the amount of forums reminds me of phone tree systems used by God knows how many companies to keep operators from answering phones.

    2 tools alternator adjustment MOD.

Very clever! Was there any need to lock the threads on the nut or does it back off with the bolt every time? I tend to replace my starter bolts so I have a couple of extras.

    Considering 5 ton!!

I recently went from deuces to CUCVs. Before that I dropped from 5 tons to deuces. I keep a 5 ton brake drum in the yard specifically for when I want another 5 ton. I only have to lug that drum a few feet before good sense kicks in.

    14b on a M1009 Issue

Gang, I looked at the OPs other posts and came across this one. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?137035-14bolt-Axle-Swap-into-M1009 At that time he felt that the 1350 joint was too big and went with the 1310/1330 combo joint. Obviously now with pics, we can see that the joint is...

Good enough for the military, good enough for you

That's very cool to find. The one 09 used after the intro was early production or prorotype. It had 7" wide rims.

12 volt CUCV headlights keep blowing

Some of the connections on a CUCV "can't possibly be right" to folks that don't know them. You may have corrected an obvious error that really wasn't.

Any real benefit to installing a roll bar on M1009 ??

The M1009 does have the half roof which adds some level of protection. It would likely help in a slow roll. Adding a cage that bolts to the floor ups this protection just a little but the cage is only as strong as the floor it's bolted too which isn't very strong. Tie some or all the mounts to...

Where in the TM is the schematic of the air brake system to show my mechanic

While I can't speak from knowledge on the FMTV, all other TMs I've dealt with had them in the appendix.

    My M101A2 Camper build

if you're ever curious just how much weight you can put on the front of an M101, I can assure you it's alot. Here's a 60F on the front of mine for the 700 mile ride home.

Love my CUCV and so does everyone else.

For those who don't follow the VIN cards, the letter "B" denotes incomplete vehicle (cab/chassis).

I agree, that video was great. I like machines but what you have, that's real horsepower.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Sad, I'm 3 miles from that beach and I haven't even driven by in many many years. I should probably take my kids to the beach a couple of times before we move.
