RE: Hmmm, Something just doesn
I was too lazy to tape the windshield glass off so I just painted and scraped it down with the razor blade. If you are careful and don’t hit the frame it cleans up good. I also need new windshield glass as they got hit with a light blast of sand when blasting so...
Do a search for bobed deuces.
Use the front springs and mounts from another deuce on the rear with one axel. You could remove the complete rear spring assembly as a unit and reinstall later if needed.
For a nominal fee, some black pajamas, and a little red wagon to pull it home, and some beverage of choice I could find you one.
I talked to them a few years ago. 1.5 million with a complete rebuild. Most are going out of the country. Several have small arms fire holes in them. Something...
What about brakes on the towed vehicle? I remember a post where you can tap into the air system around the master / air pack. Would it work to run air lines from the rear glade hands on the front truck into the rear glade hands on the rear of the towed vehicle and back flow the air for stopping?
NATO and the cap looks military. It looks like it bolts to something. I have never seen one that bolts like that but there are a lot of power cables that use the NATO plug. Radios, impacts, pumps, etc use sometype of plug into the NATO slave either on the truck ,generator, or other equipment.
I have had dealings with Mike (OD Iron) in the past. I have both bought parts from him and sold parts to him and will continue to deal with him when I need something. He has never been anything but 100% accommodating. One order from him I was shorted, a message to him and the part was on the...
Where is the second nut? Unless I am missing something I only see the inner nut and key washer. Looks like the washer is next to the seal. NO NO
Seal, nut, key washer, nut.
I have sheered the key when tighten the outer nut down and washer and inner nut spin.
I need a source for the studs and nuts for the 5 ton bolt together rims. Without going through the mud and looking at the rims I am not sure how many I need or what size they are. I m thinking there are at least two different sizes. I have both the 10 and 20 bolt rims. Also in need of HEMMT...
I have acess to some aluminum trees close to that. I can also get some ramps. 10' and really heavy. Not sure what the ramps were for but the end clamps are almost 1' thick and ramps are 14 - 16" wide and heavy.
I have acess from time to time on used ones. If there is an intrest I willl get a couple.
I might also be able to get the 12 / 24 volt HUMVEE.
What is the going price for unknown condition.
I have some tent canvas and took it to an upholstery shop and had the seat recovered.
The back and bottom of the seat kind of hinge together. The back moves up and down a little with the bottom absorbing the ride.
