Snagged a boat with the Deuce today.

I have no idea who or what had this boat before. Like I said before it hasn't ran in 10 years. The last place the trailer was tagged was Florida.

I think so, even though it doesn't have a data plate that I could see, but it does have the old round military b/o tail lights. I would have come seen you, Frodo, but ,as always, we were pressed for time and running late.

I think I'm in the same shape as you are. Well of the vehicles that are currently running.

The pics really don't do it justice. If you want to get the full effect you need to stand at the wheel and look out over the bow. That'll make you feel like somebody.

Might be a while. Will be working in our spare time, which neither one of us has. Will definitely keep the pics updated for all the picture junkies.

Snagged a boat with the Deuce today.

Went to Farmerville to pick up an aluminum boat this afternoon. What do you think? It's a 1952 Bridge Erection Boat, but it hasn't ran in 10 years. My buddy Joseph and I are going to see what we can do with it, Joseph mostly. The boat is actually not ours, we just picked it up and are going to...

That sucks the big one, but now you can make a diesel minibike companion to your M1009. Just throw it in the back and get on it when you need to get in a tight spot.

I posted before anybody had replied. That would be sweet. A chrome stack will make anything look good.

    How About A V8?

You wouldn't even have to put a programmer on it. The weakest Duramax, in a pickup anyway, would be 300 hp and 520 ft-lbs. That would be all I need.

    How About A V8?

I not saying there's anything wrong with a Cummins. I know they are a good engine. I just want to be different. Also, at least in my neck of the woods, I haven't heard anything bad about a Duramax. Also, having owned one previously, I can say that they are one heck of a motor.

    How About A V8?

A Duramax would be something I would do, if I had a ton of money and spare deuce laying around. I wouldn't put a Cummins in a deuce simply because 90-99% of repowers are, and I don't want it to be like all the other ones.

    Where does your deuce live?

I used to park mine in the street until I found out it would fit in the driveway.:-D

Any one going to Petit Jean MVPA Show?

Hopefully I won't "misplace" it between now and then. It would be a shame for something that awful to happen to something that nice.
