    Safe to add to fuel?

It's all hydrocarbon based. Pour it in and the FDC will know what to do with it.

    Registering Diesel trucks in CA

Sounds like we can get into mincing words real easy here, but heres' a defination from the ARB themselves that makes it sound like they're specifically talking about "garbage trucks", not dump trucks. Look at Sect C Definations; para. 11...

    Registering Diesel trucks in CA

I looked over the dmv.ca.gov website and didn't see anything related to restrictions on registering diesel-powered vehicles. I'd probably pay my local DMV a visit with VIN in hand and see what happens when the counter clerk enters the number into the system. If they're flagged, it'll show it...

    Prepping anodized aluminium for paint

Bjorn, Go over them with a scotch-brite pad or fine (320 grit) wet or dry paper to get rid of any surface corrosion and to give the primer a "tooth" to hold on to. Wipe the panels down with a dry cloth but don't wash or rinse them as that will encourage them to start corroding again (bare...

    Repro custom stickers?

Whatever you need done-- the outfit doing them will like you a lot if your artwork is in a file they can manipulate; such as CorelDraw (.cdr), Adobe Illustrator (.ai), Windows Metafile (.wmf), Encapsulated PostScript (.eps), Scalable Vector Graphics (.svg), to name a few-- so that they can...

Looks a little smaller in diameter. My regulator is mounted directly on my compressor so I ain't much help here.

If you have an M105A2 with an undamaged valve ...

I posted some pictures (assembled and disassembed) on the Emergency Relay Valve Problems thread. They should tell you what you need to know.

If you have an M105A2 with an undamaged valve ...

OK, here's what I've been able to find out so far. New Midland valve $135.00, my cos.t Rebuilt Midland valve $66.00, my cost. Rebuild kit $42.00, my cost. The wasp excluder is not available by itself, but IS included in the rebuild kit. If it was me, I'd probably go with the kit and rebuild the...

    deuce frame attachment

Like Kenny and David say; a plate on the opposite side of the bracket will reinforce any bolt hole you drill through the frame. In the case of a single hole, large diameter washers under the head and nut are best. If you're setting up a pattern of holes then a plate with the same pattern works...

If you have an M105A2 with an undamaged valve ...

Kaiser, The Bendix replacement is an RE-6 Relay Emergency Valve. I can email you their Quick Reference Catalog and Air Brake Handbook as .pdf files; or post it to the library if there's enough general interest. Let me know.

    no fuel to injectors

RE: Re: RE: no fuel to injectors Generally, anything with any kind of pressure behind it has a copper washer for a seal/gasket. When you get the plug out you should be able to tell by how it is machined if it was made to use a copper gasket or o-ring.

If you have an M105A2 with an undamaged valve ...

Another thing the emergency relay valve does is to enable a graduated application, based on what the service line is telling it, should air pressure be lost; so you can stay in control of the vehicle instead of having the brakes apply all at once, stranding you out in a traffic lane. And, in the...

If you have an M105A2 with an undamaged valve ...

Kaiser, The Bendix wasp excluders are just held in with a spring clip. The whole plastic assy. slides in and the retainer keeps it in place. Not sure how the Midlands are. I'll have to do a little more studying. OPCOM, I can get the Bendix parts once we know which valve you have.

What bolt pattern is 10 on 10-3/4"

Sad but true. I try to go with off-the-shelf whenever possible. Knew a guy who built himself a street rod and liked the looks of a set of Packard motor mounts he had on the shelf, so he ran them... and when he needed new ones, he discovered he had the only set on the west coast. While it's good...

What bolt pattern is 10 on 10-3/4"

Just looked at my Budd wheels and they're 10 on 11 1/4". Yours may be a trailer wheel but I'm not sure exactly which one.

If you have an M105A2 with an undamaged valve ...

I'll go by the brake shop tomorrow and get what they have in servicable vents. Any I end up with, you guys are welcome to. Since nothing is supposed to get close to the vent it's likely that the plastic just deteriorated over time or that it was smacked by a wayward wrench or tire-propelled...

What the heck is this for deuce????

Or; "No MV were injured... ?!? Shouldn't it be "'No MVs were injured... or "No MV was injured... Or are MV(s) like deer, same for singular or plural.

If you have an M105A2 with an undamaged valve ...

My air brake shop IDed it and says they have some core relay valves that can be parted out. I think there's a Bendix replacement if you want to switch brands. Sounds like they all mount the same and do the same job.

What the heck is this for deuce????

Easy Ace, take a little breath-- it'll be OK. Not all of us are cracker-jack spellers.

If you have an M105A2 with an undamaged valve ...

Here are some pictures of the relay valves on the baby HEMTT so you can see what the vents look like. Almost all of the brake parts are Bendix and I've got a friend checking on the vents but he thinks they're only available as part of a rebuilt kit and not serviced seperately. The other vent is...
