The aftermath I saw with a fatal downhill rollover in an M52 leads me to believe the defenestration of the windshield frame & glass, ragtop supports, and door glass is what got the poor soldier. Those parts looked to have turned into knives and daggers.

I've found radials don't like reversing rotation, and had several unusual fails on low-mileage ones. Cars, trucks, all behaved the same way.
I'd keep them on the same side, I even mark them on the rim with an arrow in case they get migrated to another truck.
Keeping the best in front is good...
Methinks they parallel 'cause hauling a few little gensets is easier in a tactical situation than one big one to make the required kW.
That, and the loss or failure of one of several doesn't spell disaster.
In all mil-spec gensets the individual wires are numbered on the ends and in between.
It is easier to find them that way without cutting everything apart.
A TM is invaluable in telling what wire does what regardless.

About 25 years ago, a friend of mine put a BBC/TH400 in his 715, along with deuce axles & 14.00-20 rubber.
He did a great job of modding the fenders to handle the tires.
I sold him my only two Rockwell drop-ins in 5.22:1 ratio. Came out of a M35A3 prototype test truck.
