    steam cleaning

FWIW, some HMMWVs and a limited number of CUCVs have hot start issues. Often a bottle of water poured on the IP will get you started and out of harms way.

    Wrecker OOPS

I have bad news for you guys. That's going to require a pretty substantial buffer. Might even need a gusset stapler.

    Roadside safety: Stay Alive!

The cones have much better visibility in daylight and really good visibility at night if the light is working. The triangle reflectors are small in surface and at night only reflect. Impaired drivers are more likely to forget headlights than most operators.

    Roadside safety: Stay Alive!

Just for clarification, I'm assuming quickfarms is referring to CA in regards to the required use of flashers. No such statute exists in FL and I would imagine it varies greatly from state to state.

    M35a2 home made camper ideas

What about the box off a cube van or even an ambulance box? Ambulance boxes show up on govdeals from time to time. They are sturdy and well insulated.

LEO and common sense LEO perspective on the traffic stops since it was brought up. If you anticipate being stopped, don't stop until the lights go on. Volunteering to stop because of a guilty conscience often catches the LEO off guard and disrupts the safe order of the stop. With that said...

Deuce trip n/e KS to FL Orlando.

Devilman96 and I had that issue on our epic Tennessee recovery. Thankfully he has a sack of compression fittings and we were back on the road in short order.

Ok, I can't find it. What is this trailer?

A similar trailer on a diet would be the M1061 or M1061A1. 12 and 14 ft beds respectively. Still chunkyy at 5800# but much better that 10'000#.

I have decent luck with a flare crows foot and a wobbler extension.

    1984 M1008 PickUp Driveshaft-What fits

DIfferent slip yokes have different lengths. What you need to do is put the slip in the tranny and work it back and forth until it's centered then measure the distance between the centers of the ujoints, that is if you want to do it right. Relying on a measurement from another persons truck...

    1985 m1010 fuel filter leak

I would look into the Stanadyne FM100 swap. Filters are super cheap and you can add whatever accessories you want (IE heater, water light etc.)

A muddy resistor bypass - overkill is a GOOD thing!

I did my one of my trucks in 6GA all the way to the front battery. Can't remember which truck. 6GA isn't easy to find at parts houses but the local West Marine had tons of it. When I need top shelf cabling and accessories, I bite the bullet and head to West Marine.
