Yes, for a vehicle to go on public auction it must sit on sale for agencies/non-profits/etc to buy it for a minimum of one year. If that passes with no buyer then GSA has the option to get authorization to sell it to the public or not. Other wise it will just sit unless is obvious it wont sell...

When I inspected at hooks, tx they said they would not assist in loading or any other assistance especially at off sight lots. I asked if a jump start would be ok but even then it was not permitted. I saw a trucker come in and was getting tee'd off because there was no way to load a number of...
