Look into fixing the fuel fired heater. It is much better than the coolant heater. I picked one up last year and reconditioned it. Pretty easy to fix up and works great. This is my 2nd winter with it and no problems so far. There are people on here that are knowledgable about these heaters and...
I've thought of that too, but (no offense) I think the wheel wells look way better than the cut down deuce bed. Just personal preference. If I wasn't concerned with looks, I wouldn't be bobbing it in the first place.:lol:

I wouldn't worry about the transmission too much. People use them in drag racing applications all the time. It is a very strong trans with huge aftermarket support.
