    IP, Fuel Pump and leaks

If its really motor oil you could hav a lot of blowby in the crankcase and its pushing the oil out a leaky hose going to the CDR valve but I would bet its fuel leaking from the IP.

    going price for 11.00s?

A friend of mine runs G177s he likes them they are reasonable with good tread and are a real heavy tire I have run G286s before and like them too but the tread is a bit less aggressive. The goodyears dont seem to crack and dry rot as fast or as bad as the michelins do either.

I bought them from a tire outfit who sells military tires he doesnt have any more XLs right now he had three other sets and sold them to a place that tests fire retardants. Needless to say they sprayed them and set them on fire thirty 90% percent XLs reduced to ashes but they paid his price and...

Need a source for Hemtt Wheels

I assume you want enough to do two trucks PM gimpyrob or M1075 better yet check out the classifieds here I thought I saw some for sale there.

Why list an item with no price?

I sell a few things in the classifieds and include pics when I can make them small enough but for some things you just cant get the pics small enough. If I want to post the pic of a truck I have to be standing an acre away just to get the picture small enough to crop. This is not a rant or...

    Woohoo! My M1008 arrived today

Check the driveshaft for dents I just got a 1008 and so far I replaced the starter, did the doghead starter relay conversion, repinned and bushed the hinges on both doors, rebushed and adjusted the door striker pin, getting a new driveshaft made so I have been busy lately. Good thing is the...

    Uncommon modification on new CUCV

I have always had good luck with the GSA way more accomodating than another unnamed auction company. I have learned over the years there is good places to get things from on the GSA and some not so good.

    Uncommon modification on new CUCV

Yes the starter is on the truck I usually just buy the federal surplus trucks because they are the ones not issued to a government entity so I dont know how this one got this way but I have had the purple wire carry power down to the starter and not energize the terminal on another truck there...

    Uncommon modification on new CUCV

I think the relay might still be there I hear something sounds like it energizes where the relay is and when I turn the key to the start position I get power to the purple wire. The generator light goes on when the key is turned on too.

    Uncommon modification on new CUCV

Thats what I thought I will probably do the roscommon 12 volt conversion I have done it a few times but even if the starter were 12 volt I had it wired 24 volt I thought it would still start just turn the starter a bit faster.

    Uncommon modification on new CUCV

I bought this 84 1009 from federal surplus on the GSA sight unseen looked pretty nice in the only pic they posted. I usually buy from federal surplus because the trucks come there directly from the DRMO and they are usually stock trucks. As I was trying to get the hood open while looking through...

84 lost power last night And now won't stay running

Your pump is DOA the same thing happened to the 1008 I bought from the GSA same symptoms good fuel to the pump but nothing to the injectors I replaced the pump and it works great now. I have a friend who owns a diesel shop in woodstock IL he has pumps sitting on the shelf for the 6.2.
