Soft start should be fine. The lock rotor amp rating is generally so fast without a high end meter you won’t even catch it on the display as it’s <1 second in duration.

I have a spare tire carrier assembly for a M931A0 $100
(2) mep003s on a trailer non running (fuel system needs cleaning out and other things before firing them off) $3000 with m35a3 wheels and spare
Parting out a m939 truck, was formerly a gun truck with cross bars and back plate still...
Hauled a Deere 350C today, and what was supposed to be a simple delivery turned into a FIASCO. GPS took me in down an old road, get this, that had been closed for 40 years according to the owner of the property. I traveled down thinking I was right where I needed to be until I came up on a...
Hauled my deuce to an event and kept the rig as a static display, also hauled a CAT955L and unfortunately when the guy backed down it slipped and slid sideways slamming down on my ramp and bent it slightly. Will repair it, in the meantime I added some 1” solid square stock to the ramp sides...

For future reference, there is an air solenoid up by your horn solenoid with a red circle and a slot in it, you can take a small flathead (think glasses or control screw driver) and manually engage the solenoid to test run your fan.
The MTVR uses a improved system over the old M939 5 tons for...

Easiest way to test is with the little flathead screw driver I mentioned and twist the little red knob. If you hear air move through there’s about a 90% chance that one locked under the truck as the engagement system under the truck is very robust but the electronic solenoids that you bypass...
The only thing I can be of use on is question 1), and the answer is No; you do not want to idle it as damage to the power generation side will happen quickly if idled.
However, what I like to do before actually starting one is open the engine door and use the switch inside to crank the engine...
Well boys the ol 1123 is painted. Total cost? $200 including the harbor freight HVLP gun!
Sprayed with Behr exterior paint. Now she’s up for sale

Recovered a M353 and an MTVR BII kit, unfortunately the brake shoes were dragging on the trailer. Found out after driving 1/2 mile and stopping to check hub temps (just bought at auction) and found them warm. Grabbed a wrench and backed them off real quick and off we went!

Yeah I finally got sick of waiting and being told my paperwork was lost and resubmitted, then when I had paper proof they were lying I called them and informed them this conversation was being recorded, and sent evidence stating that they should proceed carefully because I’m...
