I have seen a few 934s with a lift gate installed. I have also been looking for one to install on my truck. So far I have had no luck and it could be because I am unsure what will fit. I don't care if it is original or aftermarket, does anyone know where to get a lift gate for these trucks...
Thanks Zackman for the TM information.
Diesel, I will check the alt and see if it is the problem. I don't think it is but I am going to go through the TM inspection.
Thanks for the help. :)
I looked around at a few military surplus sites and did several searches in this forum (dash indicator lens seal, indicator lens, indicator seal, dash lens, dash light seal, etc). I need to replace all the rubber seals and two lens caps. Could somebody please provide a source for these...
Yes, it is the DC amperage (battery charge) meter. It shows left side red then to the right it goes green. The needle is not pegged to the left side it sits just before the green area. The needle does not move from that spot when I start and run the generator. It does not move at all when...
It took some time to get things going but I finally got the genset running. Not that it had any problems. I had problems getting the fuel/water filter off. What a tremendous pain in the butt. I don't think anything has ever got me so angry. I read on here the problems some of you have had...
I picked it up today and drove back home. 18 hour round trip. I live in northern Idaho but thanks for the offer. Help is Always appreciated. Wish I was closer. I had no problems with the trailer at all. Hubs stayed cool and it tracked great. The tires are in great shape and did excellent...
I'm disappointed. I liked the title as it was. It was meant to be a play on words and to get a chuckle. Oh well.
I got the correct ones ordered. I hope. I will come back and post a confirmation when I get them.
Acme, I have done the thread chaser thing on an old dually I took the axles...
One of the reasons I opted for (kept an eye out for) the 803 was the "Q" in the TQG. I had a chance at a 003 but it was further away and I really wanted it a bit quieter. The 803 have been around for a good long time now. Long enough to workout most of the bugs. One of the other reasons was...
Jimbo, I forgot about the baseboard heaters. I never use them. The vacuum is a good idea as well. I don't have a A/C unit. I was old you don't need one up here. LIARS, all of them! LOL. Just kidding. While you don't NEED one. It sure would be nice to have. I am going to get one...
Chris gave me the links to the TMs. I have already downloaded them and am going over them.
Chris, thanks for a breakdown on how the different appliances rate and how they may affect the generator. It is nice to have an idea on what to expect for the differing loads. I never looked at what...
Guyfang, a list would definitely be nice. The gen doesn't look like it has any wet stacking going on but the plan is to give it a good test anyway. I wasn't sure how many hours to run it for a test so thanks. I figured around three or four would do it.
I have a stove. The oven is electric but the burners are gas. I am sure I can find enough stuff to put a proper load on the generator though. It's just a learning curve. Having never done this I figured I would ask. I am sure I could do it but rather than making a costly mistake, I ask the...
Well, crap. I jumped the gun. However, thanks for clarifying. Off to McMaster-Carr I go. Guess I will now have a few regular flange nuts for some other project. I always got projects.
Bruce Jenner was our track and field hero in high school. Him, Prefontaine, Coe and Lewis. I am pretty...
THAT is what I was looking for Acme66. Ive watched a few of your videos on Youtube but didn't see this one. There is one on Amazon for $26 bucks. It is now on the way. Hopefully this will save my nuts...
I have the larger flange wheel nuts on the tire already. They are pretty stout but who...
