This is a tough month. I can't decide between myself, Castle Bravo, sandcobra, RDUKW, or mkcoen. One vote for my truck would be nice(even if it's my own vote), but I really didn't expect to have any chance with all the great tucks this month.
Cool! Welcome from California! Any current pictures you can share? Personally, I don't think I would change the color from white but it's your truck so if you want purple with pink flames go ahead.:D
Looks like I'm about 20 miles off of your route in Palmdale, Ca. Staying on the 58 from Bakersfield to Mojave is probably a good idea. It'll be pretty slow going but the other option is going up the Grapevine on 5 which is pretty hard on anything bigger than a Honda. Good luck and have fun on...
Me and my dad had a ton of fun out there last weekend! Thanks for putting this together FastNova! My dad has a few pictures from the night run I'll try to post.
We're planning on coming out Saturday afternoon-Sunday. My dad has to work Saturday morning so we are't going to be able to get away any sooner. If anyone wants some ammo cans I can toss some in the truck for a special rally price- 81mm cans $9 ea/ $150 a pallet of 21, 50 cal $10 ea, "grade 2"...

I've never seen anything like that stopper. On my truck I just took the limiter rods off the doors and put new rubber spacers and some washers on them to shorten the length of travel.
Napa sells connectors that can be crimped onto a wire on one end and plug into the military wiring on the other. I just buy a trailer wiring harness from Harbor Freight, cut it about 6 feet in from the plug and put the connectors the ends. That way you can just unplug the military connector from...
Nice truck and good pictures! Sounds like you had a good trip. Never done it in an MV but I always like the drive from Bishop to Fallon, especially around Hawthorne and Mina.
