You can also just buy replacement lenses/covers instead of replacing the complete light assembly. They are inexspensive and will take alot longer to dull up than a lense that has already been polished.
Send their parts back, close the book on them, and move on. Spend a fraction of the money they wanted for their parts and buy the parts yourself and fix it yourself. If not mechanically inclined then ask for help. Lots of members here that can walk you through it or even physically help you with...
Thanks for the safety tip Jon. Sorry it had to be from personal experience! I've never broken a bone before, nor would I ever want too. I can't imagine the pain. Sounds like you are on a speedy recovery with no long term effects, other than maybe a fear of buckets now. :)! Be careful out there.
You already have the answer but here is a pic. Not a very clear one now that I look at it... But I guess you can see that the spring is not between the tabs.
As I posted earlier, Gillespie 30277. It matches the tan carc on my 818, same as your 818, if that's what you're painting. I have also painted individual parts that were added to the truck as well as touching up spots on the body, and it is the same shade. Buy one rattle can and try it first if...
Did she press the accelerator partially down while trying to start it? Mine always cold start quicker by giving it some pedel. Not pumping it, just depressing about 1/4 to 1/3 of the way.
Does LA have an 'application for title' option? No sf97 needed, just related vehicle info required and they do a vin # search to make sure it is not stolen, etc. If it checks out ok, they will issue a title.

One important thing you need to do to keep from pulling air into the fuel line, is that you need to put the sender inlet 'sock' back on. Along with stopping debri from getting ingested, up their main function is to wick the fuel. Once the sock...
When it leaks from the back of the filter base it is usually from the water sensor.
Also, put the strainer sock back on the fuel sender. Diesel fuel is dirty. Do you have a filter before the electric pump? Add one if you want the electric pump to last. What is the pump rating? You need a low...
I get them from Memphis Equipment. They are reasonably priced. I will check for the p/n's. There are 2 p/n's, and it takes 3 of each.
Looking forward to more pics.
Keep the pictures coming. Your 817 will be a first rate truck when you are finished!
You might have already done this, but replace the rubber fuel hose jumpers at the fuel transfer switch. Garuanteed they will leak after sitting so long.
I have a cargo cover kit new in the crate for your...
