Change the fuel filter and make sure the vent system is not plugged, if it happens again remove the fuel cap and see if it seems to have a vacuum on it.
Of course it could be many things, that is just what comes to mind first.
Well I never said I was a painter even though I have pumped allot of paint, this was my first time using a HVLP gravity feed gun but it did not take long to get it dialed in.
This thing was a ROYAL PITA to paint but it is now GREEN!
At least now I can get back to work on it, plan on having a...

Then scroll down to the 30th page (not page#30) and look up the UOC (usable on code) you will find your 1989 M998 is an H13 (1989 was called a "basic" as it does not have an A1, A2 etc, designation)
Then...
It should be anything with a 1 at the end are three speed trucks, V belts etc. 2s have 4 speed, serpentine belts etc.
As far as I can tell the R means they were "rebuilt" so they should have 6.5L engines.
But it appears some 4 speed trucks were sold as R1s so there you go...
He specified 2000RPM@120KPH which is around 75MPH.
I have never owned a 4L80, certainly not my favorite transmission but even with 2.56 gears and a 6L80 which has a much higher top gear I am turning around 2300RPM@75MPH
Well that depends on what you start with, if you go from a 3.07 (turbo) to a 2.56 differential it would be somewhere around an 18% gain, to get to where you want to be it would take both a differential and a hub gear set change, quite allot of money, if the aftermarket gear sets are of the same...
What did you make your fenders out of?, did you have a pattern or just "free hand" it? my front fenders were missing so I need some detailed photos of the mounting brackets.
About the brakes, they certainly did not come with the disc brakes, all 120 would have been built the same for parts...
Well there is no sending unit on it so at this time it could be used as a mechanical tach drive.
The deuce tach works great.
Normally there is a sending unit that is only used for diag. there, the 6.5L has a crankshaft sensor for trans.
If you look at the picture above it is easy to see what is happening, the turn signal feed is going out on tag 461, but because there is no ground at the stud the current goes through the parking lamp seeking ground through the other parking lamps, only the parking lamp flashes, it is a smaller...
Pretty much, it is sending the signal to the light, 98% positive it is a grounding issue due to the symptoms.
I suspect he will find the studs on the back of the light in the same condition as the cover panel.
The ground wire is tag 92 and should be connected to one of the mounting studs for the composite lamp, there is a bar going between the two studs and that is your ground, it has to ground both studs, I suspect by the looks of the panel there will be allot of corrosion in there.
You probably have a grounding issue to that lamp housing.
the current is going through the large bulb and back feeding through the small bulb, of course only the small bulb will light because it takes less current than the large bulb.
