I've had a locker in my pick up truck for about ten years. I understand about coasting around a corner so the locker will relese. But i've been known to carry 8 yards of wet sand in my truck and i was worried about breaking something with that kind of a load on dry pavment. Thanks sod buster...
I was looking at firestone's S. A. TRACTION ND in 10.00-20 load range G as a possable relpacement for the ND's my truck came with. Has anyone tried these? Is there a better choice?
That was my next option. I was thinking of replacing all the vents with hose barbs and plumbing fuel line from them to the top of the air intake mushroom. With a manafold mounted to the frame so i would only have to run one line up to the mushroom.
After spending the weekend sermerged in muddy water the gear oil the the axles look like milk. My truck has the deep water fording kit ,witch pressurises the bell housing with air when you throw the fording valve. I'm thinking of plumbing air lines to the axles and T-case to keep them water...

After spending most of last weekend reclaming my Deuce from the mud hole in my back yard, i decide to install a locker in the middle axle. I'm worried about snapping a axle shaft though. I often run the truck heavly loaded on the highway. Has anyone experenced this? Thanks
If you can please take some pics of the swap. My sprag is broke" the front axle only pulls when going forward". I have a airshift T-case but i was tring to decide weather or not to just swap the whole T-case. If it's easer to just change the front,half i'll go that route. Thanks Ken
Is there any way i can make sure my injection pump hasent been converted to diesel only? Other than dumping gas in the tank and crossing my fingers?
