You might also check the bushings in the steering box. I'm about to replace mine. If you rock the steering weel back and forth and watch the shaft where the pitman arm mounts you may see the shaft move up and down before it rotates. if soo the bronze bushing are wore out.
I finally got out of my chair this weekend and swapped the air shift T-case into the truck. (I didn't have anything else going the fourm was down) The steering is a bit easier, even though i had already installed the selectros. I'm ready for a road trip to see if the mileage went up, but at...
i've had my selectros on the truck a few weeks now and i love them. my only complaint is, The are NOT WATERTIGHT!!! There is a small o-ring where the selector rotates and it's a joke! Every time i hit the trails it's weel bearing repack time when i get home. Yea my back hurts! Mabye i'll sell...
I've got mine apart right now. I did just that. my backing plates a laying on the leaf springs as we speak. they slid over the spindles with no problem.

If you notice the Z shaped bracket that holds to primary filter to the frame, is bolted to the top of the c channel of the frame. If you remove the two 3/8 bolts holding it to the frame and relocate the Z bend under the lip of the c channel of the frame the next time you do a filter job you...
They use the standard GM Wide mouth opening. For leaded gas and diesel. A high speed truck stop pump will fit and work just fine if you don't inseret it too far. If you do it will squirt fuel out and onto the ground.
nciniraror , go to www.lmctruck.com and order a catalog for the chevy trucks...
Yea the difference is unbelieveable. I sure puts a lot more fun into driving it! The only problem is all that fuel your drinking because your foot is on the floor all the time. Now all you need is a school bus to pass!
It get's way too hot in the cab. i've got to have the windshield moblie! i've thought about running a bead of silicone around it, but haven't gotten to it yet.
