    Newbie Here...Here's my Story

Well, I can tell you that that house is NOT in Arcadia! Wish it was though, then I wouldn't need to move when I retire. Hey, where are all the lowered Hondas with the big 'ol exhaust? WOW a real close SS member. If you need help, gimmie a PM. I've been told i'm handy with tools and such

Running gas in a multifuel engine

Bottom line, by 2012, no diesels older than 2007 technology for COMMERCIAL use in Ca. That includes an out of state truck crossing the border. By 2012, there will be a bucket load of 2007 and newer trucks in the used market...kinda no different than now. It will just force the old mechanical...

    oil filter gasket poblems still

Are you torquing them? If the can turns when it is tightened, the gasket will be cut and and ugly leak happens.

    Opinions sought on modification

:ditto: on all but the auto drains. Well, I installed the gun mount, have the washer kit AND instructions, but still need to install it, did 1/2 of the solargizer 'cause I had to do batteries, so I did the cool quick disconnect clamps...still gotta wire the kit in, and have the tank dome light...

    Idle Vibration Issue m1008

What is the RPM when it vibrates? The idle might be too low. If it doesn't vibrate any where else in the range from off idle to rated RPM, there most likely isn't an engine issue. Raise the idle 25 or so RPM and give that a try.

    New Guy w/ M35A3 questions

I don't have much experience working on the A3's, but most all I have seen have had flats, and if there were no flats, it is due to the CTIS being disabled. I have heard it is a system with a few issues. If it were my truck, i'd disable it too. I would suck to have a flat out on the road or out...

How do you check for a dead cylinder.

There is a definate difference between a miss...dead cylinder... and a vibration. If it has a dead cylinder, it will shake at idle and you will hear it. Instead of a nice smooth rattling marble sound, the sound the engine makes will have an audible break in the sound you hear...kinda hard to...

Nay, there are tools all over the place, but one or more of us usually bring tools so you don't need to scrounge for them. You pull your own stuff unless it's big, like cabs, engines, trans or t-case, etc. Alll that is asked is that you do not pull from a complete runner....just ask first. Bring...

I think the 5t is air actuated. It is for a deuce. If you don't need it, I could use it

Most likely, gimmie a call. I called out there today, all is a go! Last time out, it was still a no on the A3, but things change. I think there will be a guy from AZ out ther too. I forget who it is. He said he'd be there earlier than noon, so if we meet at the stand earlier, we can hook up with...
