The real question i have is the right angled vaccum fitting to it was broken .. if that's connected back to the vaccum pump could it be effecting the pressure down to the modulator and in turn causing my lack of shifting into 3rd issue?

Cleaned the spindles up, so i don't see me having a mission in the future to break it all down... They were on TIGHT! 27mm Socket seemed to be a good fit to drive out the Bushings.. Slit the spring pack.. Wire wheeled them and coated with the graphite that someone on here had recommended..

Would we agree its some kind of vaccum switch??

If this is the Vaccum pump then its connected to that ... the small vaccum line off the unidentified item goes through the fire wall but i've no idea where/what for?

I've almost finished the front end and everything feels nice and tight ... whilst the axles were out I cleaned and painted up the disc covers ..

Rusty, the oil pan shape is different in that kit from online transmissions.. ours has the rectangular one. Is this model called something different or are there many different TH400's??

Think I'm going to order the LMC unit here http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/csb/full.aspx?Page=78 i have the Dakota digital interface.. So my question is.. The LMC tacho is originally for the civi gas blazer? Do I need to buy the LMC wiring harness for it ? And can anyone recommend a 2" fuel...
