I read through the other posts but no one seems to have ever decided if the 447 and similar tandem expandos will work with a 5 ton tractor on 14.00's. I have a 932A1 I would like to pull it with. I was also thinking about putting 11.00's on the trailer just to gain some height.
The fenders look great. They really match the plate below the spare tire well.
I think beastmaster may have been thinking PSI with the singles. Many states have a PSI limit. In Mn it is 500 per inch of width and 600 on a steer axle. Max 34,000 on a tandem with out a permit.
I have a shifter cable for the allison on an A2 parts truck. It has the flat iron arm on it that has the bolt hole with two flat sides.
Any one have a lead on a winch pto for a 932A1. If some one could tell me the PTO drive shaft RPM at a given engine RPM I can spec a new one. I think all...
Thanks guy, we loaded it up in the dark and I saw the bright yellow one first, its a regular truck one but it makes sense the way they plumb it. Im going to look for the other one at the next truck stop. Ill try to down load that manual on the way.
Thanks
again
Just picked up my 931,
im not asking what any of this stuff is, I know how a regular truck brake system works.
When you push the yellow button it will put air TO the chamber to take the brakes off, you pull the button out and it takes the air off, thus the springs put the brakes on.
Now, does...
yeah yeah yeah same old story. Im a day late of the deal.
Those auction tipped me off. I was told what they went for. I wish I could watch the auctions more.
What do they sell for on the civy market?
Hey, guys.
I offered all of the sales from the site to Scott. He is a great guy and should be able to better serve you in the future.
With the creation of Drive A Tank Inc., our new in door shooting range, Vantage Point Inc. Plus the machine gun shoots coming up I no longer have time to...
I bought a 939 series truck and dont think it will run. Which axle has the maxie/spring/parking brake on it? What is the thread I need to screw into it to get the brakes pulled off?
Thanks
Also if you notice I added an extra vent door for the rear seat like the one on the front. I did this mainly to gain lengh. With out it (just adding a sliver i the middle likte that one) it seemed a little tight and like it was missing somt thing. I figured it was already almost 30 feet long...
Its pretty simple. Just get out the zip gun and welder. I would say the biggest pain is getting the taper out of the rear cab. If you look at yours it is about 4 inches wider at the rear. With stock tires you probably wont need any lift or any thing. I have 1600's and I added 4 feet to my frame...
GBP, its 1.49 now. so its only 7500 plus shipping. Be VERY VERY carefull trying to "talk him down" I dont this duncan guy so I cant say for sure SOME of them just make it up some where else. They will just take a short cut or "forget" to put some thing on the vehicle.
I agree with all of them as well, unless you need the extra width to make the scale house happy.
That is one heck of a truck, make sure you post some pictures.
Steve, if you have a gas BBQ grill, take the tank and regulator off of it. Then run a hose to the turbo. It helps alot. That was the only way I could get any kind of speed with the multi fuel and all 6 1600's with out cooking the motor. Saturn has 5 ton LDS turbos I have heard that helps
