    ECV Hood Advantages ?

    Are there advantages to the ECV hood? I'm not understanding the differences or why the change was made? It looks like the front grill/headlights is on a separate bracket attached to frame with the hood clamshell separate. I like the look of it but wondering advantages or even possible...
