As long as it's not upside down mounting it sideways doesn't matter.
Mounting it upside down may cause premature we are in the top spring allowing it to contact when not supposed to.
And this is a solenoid, not a relay. Solenoid activates differently than a standard relay.

The A/C will let you hang meat in them. Our 934 was setup with a lot of electronics and the A/C ran constantly. With all the equipment running the A/C would still freeze us out. The one that goes to it is a 3 phase 220 unit, and is big and heavy.

Yeah they tend to stick if never messed with. Forewarning, you will smell like diesel when done messing with it so you might want to wear some gloves, especially if the fuel is in the strainer.
