Alright, I will bring 3 mag mounts with 2/440 antennas on them. My mast is going to have to stay at home but my antennas will be at the top of the cab so it should give good height on them. In the truck we can monitor frs/grms, murs, cb, ham band, and the prc radios.

I just want to make sure we are going to mainly use 2m for comms. Making a list of what antennas to bring with the little mag mounts and want to make sure I grab the right ones.

Oh that's an easy one. Just have to add either pneumatic or worm gear push rods and hook them up. It's actually what I plan on doing once the kits are available for the 800 series.

Only thing the plgr has over modern gps devices is the ability to receive additional military frequencies to help avoid jamming. Other than that a gps is a gps.

I can give better, detailed information on how to do it next week when I'm in front of the equipment.
